Hi Derek

Following on from our last conversation a few weeks ago , I now have all the right kit to create the coilovers. I do have a couple of questions: 1 - I think you mentioned this on the coilover thread but just to re-iterate the top cap for the springs has a thread and screws on to the top of the damper shaft - this doesnt seem right ?? What did you do??? 2 on the rear seeing as its 2WD the rear cup inside the arach has a metal cup for the rubber spring seat at the top ( Please see my photo ) Hopefully this is the same on your 80, again what did you do. I dont want the aluminium spring top to sit under the relatively sharp solid mounted metal cup in the arch. Please can you help ? Post or give me a buzz when conveniant.
